As a modern waste disposal specialist certified according to industrial standards, we meet all standards and requirements of environmental protection - from our own convictions and usually in anticipation of legal regulations. As one of the first in the industry, we have operated a certified environmental management system since 2005 and guarantee 100% quality assurance.

Environmental and quality management

Quality is not subjective. That is why we already introduced the quality management system standard DIN EN ISO 9001 in 1996. We have always been certified according to the highest industry standards and guarantee you reliable quality throughout the entire recycling process.

When we accept goods we analyze the pollutant and radioactivity load as well as other contaminants. This allows us to sort materials effectively and store them in an environmentally sound manner. Residual materials, which cannot be recycled, are disposed of according to applicable environmental directives. Our goal is to optimize all environmental activities and processes.

At the same time, we leave nothing to chance and we continue to develop our environmental management system DIN EN ISO 14001, which was introduced in 2005.

State-of-the-art environmentally friendly buildings on our premises guarantee the safety of ground water and soil.
Noise barriers and soundproofing devices absorb noise and reduce it to a minimum in the immediate vicinity.
We use rainwater for sprinkling during the processing of waste wood, thus saving more than four million liters of precious drinking water per year.

A solar plant in Wernau produces renewable energy and sustainably conserves resources.
Energy-efficient lighting at all locations ensures the right light with significantly reduced power consumption.

The management system for occupational health and safety is an essential part of our company philosophy and is developed on the basis of OHSAS 18001. As a result, we are implementing our certified management systems for environmental protection DIN EN ISO 14001: 2015 and occupational health and safety OHSAS 18001 into an integrated process flow system.

Systematic safety: by means of preventive measures, such as training courses, site inspections of occupational health and safety, and the statutory health and safety committee, we successfully counteract accidents at work.

Triple protection!

Contamination of the cycle of reusable materials by the slightest component of contaminated substances can result in damages worth millions of dollars: hazards for personnel, damage to the plant, production losses and much more.

Our protection against radioactive contamination therefore exceeds the industry standard. We have two specially trained radiation protection officers who check the material at three key points: upon receipt, during storage and upon departure. We reliably remove any contaminated material from the cycle - by special transport to special plants for radioactive contaminated waste. This keeps everyone safe.

We are very precise!

An important step for further processing and recycling is the analysis of alloys by our trained employees and state-of-the-art analysis technology. For example, we use portable X-ray fluorescence analyzers, which ensure a non-destructive determination of elements or materials, as well as stationary spectral analyzers. This results in high-quality products that are reliably of single origin, exactly matching your specifications.
